One simple thing you can do to standout in an Audition is find a spot in your audition peice and add a simple improv line that makes a statement. You want to keep it simple and relevant to the scene. Think about why this helps if the Casting Director gives the same scene to 20+ people you need to add something to the audition to help you stand out.
